Arrival: the camp

4 Rue des Roses is the address of a recently renovated building of the 19th century. This is the place where Elie Levy (teacher at La Cambre and perfect organizer of the staying in Brussels) has welcomed all the 50 students, coming from Glasgow, Paris, Venice and Tel Aviv, participating in the workshop and this is also the location which will host the students and the teachers for the next 2 weeks. The rooms, arranged on three floors, are not yet been provided with the furniture, so all the people is living there as in a camp. Being all in the same building surely helps the integration and the development of the project, since, as Elie says, “half of the workshop takes place in the school but living together, sharing the same common space, is perhaps the most important part of it”.
